Filip Šír

Network Association MemberDigitization of Sound Documents Coordinator

Mr. Filip Šír is from Prague, Czech Republic. He works in the National Museum, and he is building new sound labs and also preparing a digitisation strategy of audio documents. In cooperation with private collector Gabriel Gössel, he published a discography about first Czech record label ESTA and new publication Recorded Sound in Czech Lands 1900-1946. He is co-author of the recomnendation on digitizing gramophone records for Czech memory institutions. In cooperation with Masaryk University, He lead collecting of information about sound collections in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The aim is to incorporate them into the Virtual National Phonotheque portal, agregator for sound documents. Besides, he leads the group of people dealing with issues of audio documents in Czech Republic. Filip is kind of pathfinder of sound documents preservation in his country.

Holder of MA in modern dance at the Academy of Drama and Music (VSMU) in Bratislava

Later she pursued the education in Germany and France as part of the scholarship award by the French government (2004-2005). In 2005 she was awarded danceWeb scholarship at Vienna international ImpulsTanz festival. In 2007 and 2008 she studied with SITI Co. and the theatre director Anne Bogart (USA). In 2014 she nourished her artistic approaches with studies at Høgskule i Volda (N) program Teaching Artist / Creative Partnerships focusing on Artistic Practices in communities and various social contexts. In 2016 she has been enrolled in the program Prototypes III, a research laboratory for choreographers at the Royaumont Foundation (Fr) curated by Hervé Robbe. In 2017 - 2018 she is one of the selected artists to participate in the program Incubateur de Chorégraphes, La fabrique de la Danse in Paris and resident artist at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris.

One of the leading interests in her artistic approach is to create and to cultivate a space for personal, embodied expression of each individual.

The artistic reflection of Brungot Svíteková has been nourished by interest in psychology, western and eastern philosophies, quantum physics and neurology, NLP and always, with greatest curiosity and respect, by human encounters with various people and different cultures.

She is also interested and develops her artistic practice within crossover projects and collaborations with visual artists and musicians.
