Dechov ý orchestr ZUŠ Vimperk
Dechový orchestr ZUŠ Vimperk vznikl v r. 1991. V roce 1993 začala spolupráce s mažoretkami ZŠ TGM Vimperk, v roce 2008 pak také s mažoretkami Premium Vimperk. Orchestr též spolupracoval s hudebními skladateli Jiřím Radou a Jaroslavem Dufkem. Úspěchy se dostavily po šesti letech, když v roce 1997 orchestr poprvé zvítězil na národní přehlídce dechových souborů Čermákovo Vysoké Mýto. V současnosti zdobí vimperské již pětinásobné vítězství z Vysokého Mýta. V soutěži ZUŠ vyhlašované MŠMT získal orchestr dvakrát první (1998, 2001), jednou druhé (2004) a dvakrát třetí místo (2007, 2010) v ústředním kole. Představil se též ve Španělském sálu Pražského hradu jako vítěz soutěže Concerto Bohemia 1998. Umístil se ve zlatém pásmu na mezinárodních soutěžích Děčín 2001, Praha 2001 a Praha 2006. Z Ostravy, kde se koná mezinárodní soutěž velkých dechových orchestrů si přivezl v roce 2003 stříbrné pásmo, stejně tak jako z Prahy (2008). V roce 2009 získal zlaté pásmo na mezinárodní soutěži Young Prague. Ze zahraničních soutěží pak vystupují do popředí úspěchy
Dechov ý VIMPERK:
The Brass band of the art school in Vimperk was founded in 1991.In 1993 it started to cooperate with the majorettes group. The band also cooperated with the music composers Jiří Rada, Jaroslav Dufek.In 1997 the orchestra won on the international festival of brass bands in Čermákovo Vysoké Mýto.After that the orchestr won 4 times more in the same festival.In the competitions of art school organised by the Ministry of Education the orchestr won twice the first award and once the second award and twice third award.It won as well in the competion Concerto Bohemia in the year 1998 which was held in the Prague castle. He got awarded in the golden band from the international competitions in Děčín and Prague.It won the silver price in international competion of brass bands in Ostrava in 2003 and as well the same in Prague in the year 2008.In the year 2009 he won golden price on the international competition Young Prague.
